As a supervisor I aim to:

• offer a consultative and collaborative working alliance
• encourage free-thinking and independence
• provide a safe yet appropriately challenging space for you to explore your work
• increase your awareness of ethical issues and standards of practice
• provide a system of personal support
• offer a forum for further learning

I have supervised groups of counsellors working with clients who had been sexually abused, and also with counsellors offering support to people with suicidal ideation.

I'm happy to have a chat on the phone to discuss your requirements, for example I can offer monthly sessions of an hour and a half to meet BACP requirements, also hour long individual sessions, and two hour group sessions (of up to four supervisees) - why not get together with some colleagues and share the cost! I am happy to offer a free half-hour introductory session.
